Conditions – Wind, S-WSW variable 5-15mph, 20 casters.
We started Casting at 9am. The weather was cloudy with very little wind.
As the day progressed the cloud cleared away and the wind strengthened
which meant that the distances started to improve.
Well done to Stephen Crimmins who increased his club otg 150gm record
from 233.98 to 235.40 in conditions that were far from favourable!
Competition was tight close amongst those casters in the 220 + distance.
Mark Harris eventually finished top of the pendulum casters with 227.13m.
(He must be eating plenty of spinach as his distances continue to improve)
Although not as far as his pb of 248m at Steyning the previous week.
well done to everyone who achieved a PB.
