Kent Sportcast Results – 12th July 2009.
Conditions – Wind S - W Variable 0 - 10mph, cyclonic dry & hot - 16 casters.
The weather conditions could have been more helpful. A SW/WSW wind was forecast all day and the court was laid out accordingly. However most of the day there was a strong westerly cross wind making long distances difficult, it was during this time that Steve Lewis had a very creditable cast of over 230m, nearest to him was Steve Boyt in the mid 220s, everyone else was lagging further back.
Mid afternoon the wind direction changed to that of the court and most casters distances improved.
Well done to Richard Burden, Derek Pinkerton and Paul Chapman on attaining PB's.
