Kent Sportcast

Milstead 2009

We have moved from Sutton Valance & Milstead.

Kent Sportcast Results – 14th June 2009.

Conditions – Wind WSW – NE Variable  Cyclonic 0 - 6mph, Dry - 17 casters.

Very difficult conditions from a casters point of view, Heat, High Humidity (caused by the early morning rain) and cyclonic wind.

The court was changed about midday to try and eke out what assistance could be gained from the variable wind direction.

Well done once again to Steve Lewis for having the furthest cast of the day, also well done also to juniors Daniel McClarren and Tom Cullip for both attaining PB,s

Well done to fishing fanatics Noel Manning and Jovan Djumic attending for the first time.

Tony Swain kept on the 100g lead all day trying to reach the 200m line, he had to eventually settle with 199m.

Shawn Manning spent most of the day cracking off, maybe part due to him incessantly changing his casting rods.

Apart from this a very enjoyable day was had by all (Even if a little burnt).

Thanks to Terry Jenner for taking the photographs.

Our next tournament is on Sunday 28th June
