Firstly thank you everyone for coming along to the club’s first tournament at its new venue situated off the Rough Common road on the outskirts of Canterbury. For info the field postcode is CT2 9DR
It was an ideal day for the club with lots of new faces, wind down the court, casting from 9am – 6pm for those that could stand it, plus tuition for those that wanted it!
Well done to Steve Lewis for having the furthest cast of the day, and having two PBs on the heavy leads.
It was a closely contested comp between those at the top, all trying that bit harder for those extra metres.
Phil Hambrook is also worthy of a mention, coming along for some casting tuition to aid his fishing and going home with a PB of 186.50, I think the bug has bit him!
Our next tournament is on Sunday the 14th June.
