One of the Isle of Thanets best kept secrets.

POD manufacture the genuine QTC frame. Made from aircraft specification aluminum and machined from a solid billet, these frames are by far stronger than a converted frame. Precision machined with the same spool clearance as original ABU frames, two sizes are available to fit: 6500 and 5500.

Once machined the frames are polished and then anodized for corrosion protection. Various colours are available including black, silver, red and blue. We cannot guarantee a perfect colour match to your ABU reel.

For the custom builder and for the special look we also do a polished cage; this offers no salt water protection but is ideal for casting. The reel foot is of stainless steel and fixed to the frame by stainless steel fastenings. Location studs are made of brass and nickel plated for corrosion protection.

Being the original manufacturer of these frames for over 20 years we believe these cages are the best quality money can buy. Beware of cheap imports! If it hasn’t got the QTC logo then it’s not a genuine quality tournament conversion.
